Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager - Learning and Development at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Ensure that Learning & Development processes and standards are consistent across all entities and identify and implement best practice wherever identified
  • Support the Learning and Development Manager in completing the annual learning and development needs analysis, developing the annual learning plan and conducting regular and annual evaluation
  • Designing, both in-house and with expert third parties, a solution which includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning & e-learning
  • Organize training by preparing for training logistics and collecting feedback
  • Conducting training needs analyses (TNA’s) and audits of the line departments to identify business problems that can be addressed by specific learning solutions
  • Align and follow the learning and development process standards in the planning, administration, delivery and evaluation of Learning and Development activities
  • Support the Learning and Development Manager in ensuring that the business unit are meeting all its learning and development targets and objectives
  • Work under the direction of the Learning and Development manager to design and develop learning experiences that satisfy identified operational needs within the business units
  • Communicate information about learning events in a timely and professional manner to ensure the business is kept up to date about learning and development activities
  • Carry out entity wide effective learning experiences on a range of relevant subjects

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
  • Excellent communication in English and preferably Arabic
  • Strong data and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, LMS dashboards)
  • Certification in any of the following is highly preferred: - CIPD / SHRM / ATD (Intermediate or Advanced level) - Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or Learning Analytics
