About the Business Area

The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and microbusiness customers in managing their finances through expert advice and a full suite of specialist products and services, including conventional and Shari'ah-compliant banking. The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage relationships with customers, conducting reviews of specific client portfolios, identifying areas for improvement and development, and promoting the use of products and services, including proactive communication and ongoing feedback collection.
  2. Build and maintain strong client relationships to increase portfolio size and support long-term progression.
  3. Support the development of new products and services based on customer feedback, supporting the identification and introduction of innovative offerings to meet customer needs.
  4. Conduct reviews and analysis of client portfolios and products, providing data on product usage and assisting in sales activity planning, including reviewing existing customer files to identify sales opportunities.
  5. Provide informed advice and inputs to drive cross-selling, upselling, and retention strategies.
  6. Support the achievement of financial targets set by the business head through daily activities, ensuring unit objectives are met.
  7. Adhere to organizational and departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure quality and consistency in service delivery.
  8. Manage personal performance in line with the bank's policies to maximize contribution to business performance.
  9. Demonstrate Our Promise and apply ADCB Service Standards in all customer interactions to deliver high service levels.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of relationship management experience in banking or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of global financial markets and trends.
  • Understanding of wealth management products and services.
  • Strong negotiation, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Good numeracy skills.
