What You Will Do:
- Adhere to and follow purchasing standards and company policies
- Maintain and update the list of approved suppliers, establishing strong vendor relationships
- Identify local vendors, negotiate rates, and monitor market trends for new products
- Process all Purchase Requisitions and Daily Market Lists from Kitchen and Bar departments
- Raise all Purchase Orders through purchasing software, ensuring accuracy of items, pricing, and quotations
- Follow monthly budgets for general purchases and obtain necessary approvals for non-budgeted items
- Examine deliveries to ensure they match quality, size, and quantity standards
- Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining efficient stock flow
- Implement and maintain a follow-up system to track pending deliveries and communicate updates to relevant departments
- Monitor and report any fluctuations in supplier pricing to management and recommend cost-saving opportunities
- Post supplier invoices daily in the material software and ensure proper documentation and filing
- Manage petty cash according to company policy
- Update and verify F&B inventory records, randomly check stocks, and address discrepancies
- Update menu item recipes and ensure inventory usage details are accurately entered in the system
- Collaborate with Head Chef, Bar Manager, and Accounts to maintain transparent purchasing and inventory processes
