Your Professional Opportunity

For our office in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with strong experience in delivering complex Telecom and Security integration projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full project lifecycle activities, including cost control, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, P&L accountability, and ensuring high-quality delivery in line with contractual obligations.

This role acts as the main interface between the client, internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Telecom and Security system integration projects from contract award through to commissioning and handover.
  • Own the project budget and financial performance, including ongoing cost control, forecasting, and profit & loss (P&L) accountability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Manage scope, risks, and changes, ensuring proper documentation, client alignment, and impact analysis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong relationships, managing expectations, and coordinating regular progress reviews and reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, logistics, and subcontractors to ensure aligned project execution.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including reviewing vendor selection, managing lead times, and tracking delivery to support the project timeline.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical requirements, and quality standards throughout the project.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, cost reviews, and earned value analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project documentation, including project plans, minutes of meetings, change requests, and close-out reports.
  • Lead project review meetings, both internally and with the client, addressing issues, solutions, and performance tracking.
  • Support bid/proposal teams during tender phases with execution strategy, timelines, and preliminary budgeting input when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 57 years of experience in project management, preferably in Telecom, Security, or System Integration industries.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-vendor projects with full cost and schedule responsibility.
  • Field/site experience is mandatory, with hands-on involvement in overseeing installation, commissioning, and on-ground coordination.
  • Strong understanding of project finance, budget control, and P&L management.
  • Familiarity with technical systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Radio Communications, Networking, etc.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, including short-notice extended onshore and offshore site visits during key project phases.
