Job Mission:

• Perform project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead, including design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings, material definition, validation, testing, and engineering of process measuring sensors, process actuators, installation elements, and process safety elements.
• Interface and coordinate with other project team specialists and designers.
• Coordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing or outsourcing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review client technical documentation and requirements.
• Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents.
• Define engineering design basis and guidelines.
• Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation elements, material, and services requisitions; perform technical evaluations according to internal procedures.
• Provide technical support to the project team.
• Optimize instrumentation design ensuring minimal cost and complexity while complying with contractual and safety requirements.
• Prepare instrumentation technical specifications, data sheets, installation specifications, drawings, BOQs, and MTOs.
• Validate vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations, as well as vendor measurement elements sizing calculations.
• Coordinate engineering activities and ensure instrumentation 3D modeling design activities.
• Participate in F.A.T. activities and vendor workshops.
