Job description

Job Purpose:

Manage daily operations of all food and beverage outlets at Concourse 1, Terminal 1 & 2, Dubai International Airport. Coordinate with other departments to ensure service standards are highly competitive and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction with their dining experience.

Key Results Area:
  1. Oversee daily operations: Ensure excellent service and profitability of F&B outlets in Concourse 1, Terminal 1 & 2.
  2. Promote sales: Assign operational tasks to staff for optimal results and smooth outlet functioning.
  3. Coordinate with Production Department: Regarding menus, food quality, and kitchen matters to serve top-quality food.
  4. Menu development: Propose new menus within budgets, recommend pricing, rotate/change menus, and introduce new products to boost sales.
  5. Customer complaints: Investigate and resolve issues related to food quality or service promptly.
  6. Operational oversight: Regularly visit outlets to ensure food and beverage quality standards are met.
  7. Budget management: Prepare and submit annual CAPEX and staff budgets for approval.
  8. Procurement coordination: Work with Purchasing and W&D departments for equipment, materials, and stock items.
  9. Staffing and performance: Ensure proper staffing, monitor performance, and promote professional development while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
  10. Quality adherence: Implement ISO 9001:2000 standards and reflect EKFC Quality Policy in all responsibilities.
Education Qualification:

Graduate or Diploma in Catering and/or Hotel Management or equivalent. Extensive knowledge in Food and Beverage Management is required.

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience with a degree; 7 years if holding a Diploma.

Skills:
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Task-oriented with strong hotel and catering background.
  3. Highly motivated, a team leader with good organizational skills.
  4. Fluency in English is essential.
