Job description

• Primary point of contact for all site production and order consolidations.

• Management of a smooth operation of incoming and outgoing materials.

• Assist with implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and applicable regulatory standards.

• Close coordination/collaboration with all site based functions to ensure organizational objectives are met.

• Robust reporting and site metrics capture along with planning coordination on all site-based deliverables.

• Continuous improvement initiatives and driving cost improvement/reduction initiatives on site – self driven.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Oversee all production floor activities, ensuring daily targets are met in line with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

b. Manage, coach, and develop a team of operators and line staff to ensure optimal performance and employee engagement.

c. Coordinate with planning and logistics to ensure smooth workflow, availability of raw materials, and timely delivery of FGs.

d. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Investigate and resolve quality issues in collaboration with the QA/QC team.

e. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental standards.

f. Track and report on production KPIs such as output, downtime, yield, and efficiency. Recommend and implement process improvements.

g. Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns, bottlenecks, or other issues that impact production. Coordinate with maintenance as needed.

h. Train new and existing staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment handling, and safety practices.

i. Monitor usage of raw materials and consumables, ensuring accurate record-keeping and minimizing waste

• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement practical solutions quickly.

• Clear verbal and written communication for effective team coordination, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. • Capable of managing multiple tasks, shifts, and priorities under pressure to meet production deadlines.

• Ensures precision in production processes, documentation, and quality checks.

• Understanding of production equipment, machinery, and process flow. Ability to read technical drawings or schematics.

• Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, or other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

• In-depth understanding of workplace safety procedures, PPE usage, and emergency protocols.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to unexpected production changes or challenges.
