- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of the in-room dining operation to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and train in-room dining staff, including servers, runners, and order takers, to ensure adherence to service standards, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage in-room dining orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and presentation standards meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to maintain menu offerings, pricing, and availability, and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to in-room dining promptly and professionally, resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction and maintaining positive guest relations.
- Monitor and analyze in-room dining revenue and performance metrics, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Conduct regular inspections of in-room dining areas, including guest rooms, corridors, and service stations, to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training programs related to in-room dining operations, guest service, and staff development.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, front office, and food and beverage, to coordinate service delivery, resolve issues, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, guest preferences, and competitor practices related to in-room dining, and make recommendations for enhancements and innovations to maintain competitiveness and exceed guest expectations.
- Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to your direct manager/supervisor. Follow all company policies and procedures related to occupational health, safety and security.
