Job description

This position plays a crucial role by delivering a positive dining experience to guests and providing excellent customer service in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure guests have a positive dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to customer needs.
2. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
3. Follow the steps of service and all SOPs as per the mini manual booklet.
4. Prepare and serve food & beverages according to company standards.
5. Upsell products and promote special items to customers.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the waiter station, packaging materials, and storage areas.
7. Handle customer rejection or complaints in an open and efficient manner.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
9. Manage revenues by issuing receipts, accepting payments, and returning change.
10. Clean tables or counters after customers finish dining, maintaining a clean work surface behind counters.

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate with trainees, kitchen staff, and barista staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and colleagues.
• Adhere to company grooming standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry in the UAE.
