The Role

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Senior Account Manager/Account Director to lead initiatives for some of the world's largest global brands. You will manage teams across client accounts, some directly, and work with senior colleagues to identify entrepreneurial and operational opportunities that can elevate our business reputation. Using key insights and Edelman’s proprietary IP, you will develop strategic platforms and present confidently to top-tier clients.

Key Roles And Responsibilities
  1. Lead brand account teams, overseeing and developing multi-market campaigns.
  2. Identify growth opportunities within existing clients and prospect new business.
  3. Provide strategic counsel to clients on communications, including PR, digital, social, and content creation.
  4. Oversee client programs and drive creative campaigns.
  5. Draft PR proposals, Q&As, briefing documents, and other strategic materials to expand accounts.
  6. Manage a portfolio of accounts, develop junior team members, and handle line management duties.
  7. Lead media engagement strategies and coach teams to secure coverage.
  8. Manage financial aspects including forecasting, hours allocation, and budgeting.
Knowledge & Skills
  1. Minimum 7 years of experience demonstrating creative capabilities and media relations expertise.
  2. Strong writing skills with the ability to give clear feedback.
  3. Experience managing budgets and understanding client financial targets.
  4. Proven ability to create multi-market toolkits.
  5. Ability to identify growth opportunities for clients.
  6. Experience working with global brands in integrated communication roles.
  7. Leadership skills with a track record of inspiring teams and successfully selling concepts to clients.
