Job Title: Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO)

To support and lead our financial strategies and operations, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) who possesses strategic acumen and the capability to drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to the Group's business units, guiding financial decisions and driving sustainable growth and profitability. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial plans aligned with the overall corporate strategy.
  2. ERP Implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations): Oversee and lead the implementation of ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O across the Group's business units. Ensure successful integration, data accuracy, and optimization of the ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and financial reporting capabilities.
  3. Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations on cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and capital allocation.
  4. Risk Management: Establish and implement robust risk management processes, identifying financial risks and opportunities across the Group. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  5. Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to support the Group's financial stability and fund business operations effectively.
  6. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Comply with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements.
  7. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Evaluate potential M&A opportunities and conduct due diligence on potential targets. Drive post-merger integration efforts to realize synergies and maximize value for the Group.
  8. Leadership & Team Management: Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the finance team. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, encouraging continuous learning and growth.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, board members, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Represent the Group in financial discussions and negotiations.
  10. African Market Expansion: Willingness to travel to Africa to explore new business opportunities and oversee financial operations in the region.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive, preferably within a diversified conglomerate or similar industry.
  • Extensive experience in leading and successfully implementing ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in a large-scale organization.
  • Strong financial analysis, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and financial regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, optimize processes, and streamline financial operations.
  • Track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Open-minded with a visionary leadership approach, capable of inspiring and motivating teams towards a common goal.
