Job Purpose
Perform instrumentation maintenance tasks on safety and non-safety related Systems, Structures, and Components to effectively maintain the plant and ensure high equipment reliability and performance. Conduct Surveillance Tests (ST's), Performance Tests (PT's), and Preventive Maintenance (PM's) in accordance with surveillance and PM programs.
Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountability
- Instrumentation Maintenance
- Perform instrumentation maintenance tasks promptly and with quality to achieve operational readiness, safety, and reliability.
- Ensure the proper functioning of instrumentation systems, including containment equipment such as reactor protection, engineered safety features actuation, radiation monitoring, seismic monitoring, and control, monitor, and protection instruments for containment systems.
- Maintain and oversee the Balance of Plant (BOP) I&C equipment, including cooling water systems, water treatment, instrument air, gas treatment systems, and auxiliary steam systems.
- Review work packages for operational and outage maintenance to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and stage maintenance activities, including procurement requests for spare parts and tools, and consolidate spare parts lists to ensure system operability.
- Attend pre- and post-job briefings, oversee maintenance teams to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
- Conduct periodic tests to verify system performance and identify deficiencies.
- Update equipment master lists in the Operation Management System (OMS) to enhance program knowledge.
- Implement Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) programs to maintain safety and reliability.
- Utilize the Corrective Action Program (CAP) to address deficiencies and improve performance.
- Support high-standard self-assessments for continuous improvement.
- Execute troubleshooting on I&C systems to resolve issues efficiently.
- Follow Maintenance Code of Conduct to ensure safety and reliability.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards in compliance with QA programs.
- Engage in continuous learning of industry best practices.
- Report maintenance quality issues and equipment deficiencies for prompt resolution.
Staff Training and Qualification
- Implement management expectations regarding Maintenance conduct.
- Provide feedback on training programs to ensure high-quality qualification processes.
Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support
- Support outage and ERO activities to ensure safe and reliable operations, including shift and off-hours support as needed.

Qualifications
- High School Certification
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
