Job Title: Mechanical Planning Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Experience: 13 Years

Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing detailed mechanical project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely execution of mechanical activities.
  • Preparing and updating project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
  • Analyzing project progress, identifying delays, and implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensuring alignment of project activities with client requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitoring material availability, resource allocation, and equipment utilization to optimize efficiency.
  • Conducting risk assessments and proposing mitigation strategies for mechanical projects.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Collaborating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Keeping track of budgetary constraints and assisting in cost estimation for mechanical projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project) is an advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and project management.
