As a Senior Solutions Architect at Backbase, you will be at the forefront of our most strategic engagements, designing complex, future-proof architectures for enterprise prospects and customers. This role combines technical vision, strategic advising, and customer advocacy. You will shape transformational digital solutions using Backbase's cutting-edge software platform, guiding stakeholders from initial exploration through solution realization.

Meet the job:

Your mission as a trusted advisor is to define and architect the prospect's desired end-state, ensuring alignment between their digital ambitions and Backbase's capabilities. You will play a key role in pre-sales and post-sale activities, leading discovery sessions, solution design workshops, proof-of-concepts, and executive presentations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead solution architecture and technical strategy throughout the sales cycle and early implementation.
2. Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand customer needs, current architecture, and strategic goals.
3. Design scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with customer objectives and Backbase's product capabilities.
4. Deliver compelling presentations, architecture documentation, and high-impact demos that communicate value effectively.
5. Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to ensure successful solution delivery.
6. Act as a thought leader in digital transformation, providing guidance on best practices, trends, and innovations.
7. Contribute to developing architectural frameworks, reusable assets, and knowledge sharing across global teams.

As a future SSA at Backbase, you should have:

1. Extensive experience in backend development, with a proven track record in architecting backend strategies and defining best practices.
2. Solid knowledge of Java, Spring, Docker, Maven, Kubernetes, and Helm.
3. Deep technical expertise in backend architecture, quality assurance, and performance optimization, with a focus on quality, security, and accessibility.
4. Strong leadership skills, capable of coordinating change management efforts, resolving technical issues, and maintaining product consistency across teams.
5. A proven record of successful cross-functional collaboration with management and product development teams.
6. Exceptional communication and client engagement skills, with experience gathering and implementing client feedback for improvements.
