The Role

Are you ready to lead transformative alumni relations in one of the world's most dynamic regions

London Business School are seeking a Senior Manager, Alumni Relations to join us on a permanent basis at our Dubai campus.

You you will be the lead liaison for Alumni Relations in the region, acting as a key partner between alumni and the School. Alongside developing and implementing a plan for alumni engagement in the region, working closely with the larger AE team, designed to inspire maximum stakeholder engagement and advocacy. Additionally, you will manage and leverage key volunteers across the region and support the Advancement goal of ensuring an outstanding volunteer experience.

The Advancement team is engaged in developing life-long relationships with our students and alumni and delivering fundraising activities to support London Business School's ambitious growth to secure its position in the premier league of business schools. The Advancement purpose is to nurture our relationships with alumni and friends by walking the journey for life with our community. We aim to nurture this lifelong relationship through a set of comprehensive engagement activities including communications, networking, and continued learning opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead liaison for Alumni Relations in the MENA region.
  • Develop and implement alumni engagement plans.
  • Collaborate with the Alumni Engagement team to maximise stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage and leverage key volunteers in the region.
  • Support the Advancement goal of ensuring an outstanding volunteer experience

Who we are looking for

  • Knowledge and understanding of the region and higher education.
  • Extensive awareness of the activities of the organisation and competitor business schools.
  • Excellent numerical skills with the ability to understand, use, and manipulate financial information.
  • Focus, energy, drive, and ambition.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.

For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week. However due to the nature of the role you may be required to work some evenings or weekends.

We operate with core hours 10:00-15:00 to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
