Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards meet specified requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing Housekeeping Attendants' job assignments
  2. Issuing keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants
  3. Noting VIPs, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, Double-Lock Rooms and taking appropriate actions
  4. Attending daily meetings and receiving special instructions
  5. Checking out guests before reporting rooms as vacant
  6. Handling special guest requests
  7. Inspecting cleaned areas using checklists to ensure quality, proper supplies, and reporting repairs
  8. Filling out reports and handing over found articles to the lost and found department
  9. Supervising cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells
  10. Training and assisting Housekeeping Attendants and advising supervisors on performance
  11. Assisting with inventory management and ensuring proper handling and maintenance of equipment

Education, Qualifications & Experience

Ideally, you should have a diploma or vocational training in hospitality, with previous minor supervisory experience within a hotel’s Housekeeping Department. Good command of written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Computer literacy and previous experience with Opera are advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be a friendly, caring individual with good cross-cultural sensitivity and a concern for quality and detail. You should work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with a multicultural team and guests, and possess the following competencies:
