Reservations Agent - Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental within the Revenue Department, the Reservations Agent is responsible for handling bookings and maximizing guest requests and reservations. The Reservations Agent reports to the Assistant Reservations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segments and sources, system close-out when necessary, and rate availability.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and adherence to Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental service standards.
  • Follow internal credit policies.
  • Follow up on lost business and communicate relevant information to department superiors.
  • Spot-check reservations made the previous day and verify all VIP arrivals.
  • Achieve testing call (LQA / IFH) results > 85%.
  • Implement the internal up-sell program for the Reservations department.
Candidate Profile:
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in the luxury hotel industry in a similar role.
  • Guest-focused with excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Team player who delivers their best.
  • Trustworthy, responsible, and able to handle pressure.
