Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Achieving continuous improvement in RTA's operations and performance through comprehensive process reengineering and systems and policy development. Enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the Authority by analyzing current operations, providing recommendations for process reengineering, and managing and implementing development projects and initiatives, continuous improvement, corporate agility, process reengineering, and change management to achieve sustainable strategic objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DECISION-MAKING

1. Comprehensive assessment of RTA's core activities, with a focus on implementing business process reengineering to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Analyze current operational models and corporate performance levels to identify opportunities for business process reengineering and continuous improvement.

3. Identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities using business process reengineering methodologies.

4. Implement business process reengineering initiatives to address performance gaps and develop the Authority's activities.

5. Propose business process reengineering initiatives aligned with the Authority's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

6. Lead the implementation of business process reengineering initiatives to ensure effective and timely implementation.

7. Review and update existing policies, processes, frameworks, and manuals, with a focus on business process reengineering to enhance governance and transparency.

8. Lead the Authority's business agility, continuous improvement, and business process reengineering practices.

9. Develop frameworks that support development, continuous improvement, business agility, and business process reengineering.

10. Hold workshops and raise awareness among stakeholders in the field of development, continuous improvement, business agility, and business process reengineering.

11. Develop performance indicators and evaluation criteria to measure the impact of continuous improvement, organizational resilience, and process reengineering initiatives.

12. Collaborate with the Authority's departments, leadership, and external partners to develop process reengineering solutions that drive the Authority's success.

13. Conduct benchmarking, analyze, and adopt global best practices related to the Authority's work, continuous improvement, organizational resilience, and process reengineering practices.

14. Implement continuous improvement, organizational resilience, process reengineering, and change management methodologies to enhance the Authority's activities.

15. Build a culture of continuous improvement, organizational resilience, and adaptability within departments.

16. Review and recommend policy updates to enhance integration, governance, and continuous improvement.

17. Provide support and preparation for the Dubai Governance Excellence Model regarding continuous improvement, organizational resilience, process reengineering, and change management.

18. Manage projects related to continuous improvement, organizational resilience, process reengineering, and change management.

19. Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position and as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university. Priority is given to master's or doctorate degree holders in related fields.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the field
