Treasury & Trade Solutions Head, UAE and Corporate Commercial & Public Sector Sales Head for the UAE

Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) encompasses the total product suite within Cash Management and Trade. Responsibilities include managing TTS product revenues, expenses, and EBIT across all client segments through superior product delivery and execution. The role involves developing the TTS franchise in the UAE, aligning TTS strategic vision with the overall Citi Franchise strategy, market trends, and customer needs. Managing the TTS business to achieve revenue, expense, and efficiency targets is essential. The position also leads product development, drives sales and innovative solutions, manages risks, and oversees talent development and client experience in the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute the TTS strategy as developed by country and regional management.
  • Deliver Product P&L (Revenue, Expense, and Net Income).
  • Manage performance measurement and growth of TTS business across revenue, volume, and assets.
  • Oversee regulatory affairs, technology development, infrastructure upgrades, and governance matters alongside relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent TTS in country governance committees.
  • Train, develop, and retain talent.
  • Create a sales pipeline by leveraging client relationships and internal partnerships to meet revenue targets.
  • Drive customer segmentation, product positioning, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • Foster product innovation within the country.
  • Develop inorganic growth strategies through partnerships and alliances.
  • Formulate network and payment distribution strategies, considering new channels like card schemes.
  • Promote a culture of world-class product development using frameworks like Product Launch Framework.
  • Ensure product innovation aligns with strategic and financial goals.
  • Maintain competitive product offerings in service, functionality, and pricing.
  • Meet client needs through integrated product offerings.
  • Define value propositions, competitive positioning, and distribution channels.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for large-scale partnerships and alliances.
  • Create and execute an annual financial plan based on key drivers and customer insights.
  • Lead transformational initiatives to optimize resources and improve profitability.

This role also includes responsibility for Public Sector Sales in the Middle East & Pakistan (MEP) Cluster and North Africa & Levant Cluster (NAL).

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of banking experience, including 8-10+ years in managerial roles.
  • Strong knowledge of industry players, ecosystem, and key connections.
  • Proven leadership in a multi-functional matrix environment.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
