Job Overview

Brief Introduction to the School:This school is affiliated with IB/Edexcel and IPSIS and offers the American curriculum from KG to Grade 12 but also the opportunity for students to opt into IGCSE, A-Levels, and IBDP in high school. There is a strong language offering with English and Arabic compulsory throughout the school as well as French from Grade 1 with the option to continue to examination level.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Coordinate the IB programmealignedIB requirements

• Lead ona variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and other school leadership to ensure student success

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject plus a PGCE (or equivalent)
• Previous experience teaching IB at the secondary level; coordinator experience needed for this role
• Excellent communication skills (previous experience in an EAL environment is welcomed)

• Understanding of the principles of inclusive education and supporting students with special educational needs
