Job Purpose

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our organization, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices.

Key Accountabilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to obtain the best possible deals and maximize cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and requests for proposals (RFPs) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness before issuing purchase orders.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software or systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains in the procurement process.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to foster long-term partnerships and collaboration.
