Job Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date CIL & Centerline parameters, spending approximately 80% of time on the floor for coaching, observing, and troubleshooting.
- Actively participate in DDS to analyze data, formulate actions, and set daily priorities.
- Review daily work schedules, allocate tasks, and provide work directions to ensure lean manufacturing targets are met.
- Participate as a team member in operating a complete production line to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
- Monitor system performance, adjust calibrations and settings for synchronization, throughput, and waste reduction.
- Troubleshoot non-routine defects, recalibrate settings to minimize downtime, and escalate serious malfunctions to Maintenance and Quality Control.
- Perform minor maintenance activities to optimize efficiency and asset longevity.
- Serve as a technical reference for subordinate shift members, assisting in troubleshooting and training.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Production Accounting regarding materials supply and activities.
- Lead IWS meetings with machine operators to discuss machine conditions and upgrades.
- Maintain a clean workplace, comply with occupational health and safety procedures, and uphold 5S standards.
- Ensure proper presentation of equipment owners, company uniform, and personal hygiene to uphold company image.
- Prepare daily reports on production and quality as per company system.
- Execute activities safely and in an environmentally friendly manner, supporting OHS hazard identification and environmental aspects.
- Ensure subordinates are aware of OHS hazards and environmental risks to maintain a risk-free environment.
- Understand and execute roles in case of emergency and the importance of OHS and environmental management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing; experience in tissue manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of equipment and processes in the relevant area.
- Understanding of safety procedures and standards.
