JOB ADVERT: Technical Research Analyst

Job Summary:

Al Ramz Capital L.L.C is seeking a Technical Analyst to join our growing team.

This role will assist the Head of Technical Analysis in preparing daily and weekly technical analysis reports on market-listed and potential companies, sector and market indices to inform investment strategies and trading opportunities in the MENA, GCC, and global markets. Develop professional technical screeners. Proactively research and stay abreast of industry trends, news, corporate disclosures, market activities, mergers and acquisitions, and assess their impact objectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantitative Tools and Techniques

Assist in preparing technical analysis reports, support development of quantitative tools, and build technical portfolios for markets outside UAE.

1. Research and Statistical Consultation

Research industry trends, explore trading opportunities, analyze data, and assist traders with models and research techniques.

1. Report Management

Prepare analysis reports, technical screeners, and present investment ideas. Review and assist in writing statistical and narrative reports.

1. Research Product Development

Develop research products tailored for all investors/clients of Al Ramz.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Mandatory: Bachelor's in finance, banking, economics, or statistics.
• Desirable: CETA, CFT, or CMT Level 1 certification.
• Experience: 1-3 years as a technical analyst in a financial institution.

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of financial markets, understanding of regulatory environments, analytical skills, excellent communication in Arabic and English, familiarity with research techniques, and presentation skills.
