A leading company in the Facilities Management sector is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to oversee HSE policies and ensure compliance across their real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE, particularly within property management, and will be responsible for conducting audits, training staff, and promoting safety awareness. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and NEBOSH IGC certification. Join a team dedicated to maintaining high safety standards and compliance.
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures across all real estate portfolio / properties.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments of buildings and common areas to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Monitor and support ongoing maintenance activities and FM works to ensure safety standards are maintained.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses for any accidents or near misses; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and liaison with Civil Defense.
Work closely with FM, and maintenance teams to align safety requirements with operational needs.
Provide HSE training and induction for in-house staff, service providers, and contractors.
Ensure all statutory requirements and documentation (e.g., fire safety certificates, risk assessments) are up-to-date and available.
Serve as the point of contact for all health and safety-related issues on-site.
Promote a culture of health and safety awareness among employees.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ HSE experience in a property or facilities management environment, preferably in landlord-owned real estate.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws and compliance regulations.
Experience with FM industry is highly preferred.
