DESCRIPTION

Amazon Supply Chain team is looking for a talented, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed candidate to manage capacity operations for the AMET (Africa, Middle East & Turkey) region.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about managing challenging, lengthy projects across multiple teams and locations. We are seeking a Business Analyst who shares Amazon's passion for the customer—someone who understands both Engineering and Business aspects. This role requires excellent SQL query development skills, good business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, program, and product teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and driven by innovation.

To succeed, you should have superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Operating autonomously in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, you will take control and responsibility for achieving role objectives. Key job responsibilities

1. Data analysis by writing ETL queries in SQL/Datanet platforms
2. Proficiency with MS Excel
3. Enabling effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
4. Analyzing and solving business problems by understanding root causes and identifying forward-looking opportunities
5. Designing new metrics and enhancing existing metrics to support future business processes and ensure sustainability
6. Understanding tools and processes and driving seller adoption
7. Communicating complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of data analytics or automation experience
• Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
• Experience working directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis for improvement opportunities
• UAE national with Family Book

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PG/UG from reputed institutions; engineering graduates preferred
• Strong statistical skills
• Previous experience in supply chain field
