Job description

Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Operates a computerized cash register/PDA's; receives tickets/tokens from guests; calculates parking fees; receives cash/ credit card payments
- Prepares daily cashier report; tally cash and credit card slip; drops the sales in the Cash Office safe at the end of shift
- Keep a stock of tickets/tokens and re-fill the machines, re-order as and when required; reports malfunction of electronic and mechanical equipment
- Requires regular and prompt attendance plus the ability to work well with others and work well as a team
- Coordinate with Security, Engineering or systems suppliers for any support/technical issues. Keep log of all issues
- Prepare the daily, weekly, monthly revenue summary and reconciliation by matching the sales against the systems reading and ensure cash is deposited at the Cash Office
- Enhance customer experience by delivering service with a smile, understanding customer needs and paying close attention to details
- Can work in different shifts and do multi-tasking
- Keep the work area clean and orderly
Operating Environment
- Work is performed in a cashier's booth for parking or in an open area for valet; at various parking facilities within the complex
- Work requires sitting for long periods inside the booth or standing in open area at the valet
- The job requires working overtime during major exhibitions and live events
Formal Education
Accounting graduate preferred
Work Experience
At least 2 years relevant experience in an agency or in-house UAE/GCC experience preferred
