The Role

We seek a Senior Account Executive to lead strategic sales within Turkey and the broader MEA region. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business, with a focus on new logo acquisition and account development (approximately 70% new business, 30% existing account growth). This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role.

Your Focus
  • Drive complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles and present Strategy’s value to C-level stakeholders through strategic, value-led engagements.
  • Research customer environments to create impact models, account plans, and business cases, including ROI and TCO analyses.
  • Manage all sales process aspects, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services.
  • Develop territory and account plans with Inside Sales to ensure a healthy pipeline and overachievement.
  • Manage sales pipeline to balance prospects, opportunities, and proposals.
  • Align long-term objectives with short-term results to maximize revenue.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Strategy’s BI products and their applications.
  • Position solutions through strategic value-based selling, defining business cases, and leveraging analyst data.
  • Coordinate industry events and user groups to generate market interest.
  • Follow the MEDDPICC sales methodology to ensure effective sales cycle management.
  • Identify and report risks timely and appropriately.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports using CRM tools.
  • Leverage partner relationships to add value and revenue.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Experience in software sales in Turkey.
  • Proven quota-carrying sales experience into large enterprises.
  • Consistent over-quota sales performance.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders on complex IT and business opportunities.
  • Background in Business Intelligence, AI, Data Analytics, CRM, ERP, Cloud software sales.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, Sandler.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a team.
  • Knowledge of ROI and TCO principles.
  • Self-starter with a customer-centric approach and strong storytelling skills.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
Desirable Experience and Skills
  • Knowledge of competitor BI products, Data Preparation, ETL, Databases, Analytics, and Data Warehouses.
  • Understanding of Big Data is a plus.
