To source Personal Finance Applications from the local market, ensuring that business sourcing aligns with ADIB's permitted policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities of the role
- Main Responsibilities
- Source new-to-bank Personal Finance, Covered Cards, Auto, and Takaful products within the specified target segment and achieve or exceed assigned targets.
- Prepare and maintain the Daily Sales Report (DSR) for all visited customers and company visits.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with all business entities and individuals from whom business is sourced.
- Visit potential companies and institutions to finalize business deals within the targeted turnaround time, adhering to ADIB policies and procedures, and provide feedback to RSS.
- Maintain full product knowledge and implement it consistently.
- Provide prompt and timely service to customers.
- Adhere to office timings, follow confidentiality norms, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Submit the DSR to the respective Branch Manager by the end of each day with complete details.
- Ensure compliance with the above; escalate any non-compliance issues.
- Regular / Occasional Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications, ensuring all information is accurate and authentic, including critical documents like bank statements, passports, Emirates IDs, and salary certificates, prior to submission.
- Ensure all applications are error-free and rectify errors when identified.
- Follow the approval process and escalate delays to BM / OSM as necessary.
- Execute Murabaha contracts with customers, prepare files as per checklists, and forward card allocations for issuance within 24 hours of signing formalities.
- Monitor disbursement of finance and notify BM / OSM of delays.
- Maintain good rapport with inter-departmental teams and peers to ensure smooth business flow.
- Participate in activities assigned by your BM / OSM / line manager during promotional periods.
- Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-efforts basis when required.
- Immediately escalate customer complaints to supervisors if any arise.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required
- Broad knowledge of ADIB’s Personal Finance and other RBG products and services.
- Fair knowledge of service standards, sales skills, and computer literacy.
- Good understanding of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
- Thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
General awareness of competitors in the local market.
