1. JOB SCOPE
The Retoucher is responsible for selecting, editing, uploading, and publishing photographs and videos to our CRM system. They also advise agents and photographers regarding image quality and shot selection. Occasionally, they may undertake other graphical responsibilities such as drawing floor plans.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Retoucher plays a vital role in helping the company achieve its vision and strategic profit objectives.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To succeed, the Retoucher must develop a collaborative work ethic across all departments and have a detailed understanding of the photography editing process. The Photography Editor is responsible for editing photos to accurately reflect each unit/property, enhancing brand awareness and perceptions of Better Homes, and increasing client inquiries. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Shared responsibilities include working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as agents, owners, tenants, developers, and departmental contacts. The Photography Editor must ensure company policies are followed in all tasks.
3. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in editing, photography, or graphic design, with 1-2 years of experience, preferably in the property or real estate industry
- Proficiency in MS Office, Internet, Database Software, etc.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other marketing tools and techniques
- Experience managing internal clients
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic skills are an advantage
- Creative, analytical, with personal drive and initiative
- Strong presentation skills
