The Role: Housekeeping Attendant

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Attendant is to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of our apartments. This role ensures guests have a pleasant and memorable stay, with each property meeting SmartStay's high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitizing surfaces, changing bed linens, replacing towels, and replenishing guest supplies.
• Inspect apartments for damages and report issues.
• Follow protocols for lost and found items.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Respond promptly to guest housekeeping requests.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned apartments.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, hotel, or holiday home environments preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to use mobile apps for checklists and reporting issues.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
• Immediate availability to start.
