Piping Supervisor – Industrial and Marine Projects

What Does a Piping Supervisor Do?

1. Lead and oversee piping installation and construction activities in heavy industrial or marine environments.
2. Supervise a multi-national workforce of pipefitters, welders, and general labor to achieve construction milestones.
3. Ensure adherence to safety practices, quality standards, and project specifications on-site.
4. Coordinate closely with project engineers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve field issues.
5. Maintain accurate records of progress, materials, manpower, and daily site operations.
6. Review and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications to guide site execution.
7. Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, welding codes, and piping standards.
8. Participate in planning and scheduling activities using tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement, safety enhancements, and productivity optimization.
