Job description

Minimum Roles and Responsibilities

The following roles and responsibilities are not exhaustive but provide an overview of the position:

1. Take all necessary precautions to protect vehicles during climate-related conditions.
2. Ensure the safe transportation of NDT equipment and personnel to various job sites.
3. Properly load, secure, and unload sensitive NDT equipment.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs.
5. Follow local traffic laws and Sievert safety policies.
6. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.
7. Comply with safety standards, especially when handling radiographic materials and hazardous substances.
8. Log vehicle and equipment usage, maintenance, and technical issues accurately.
9. Handle NDT equipment and hazardous materials safely.
10. Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by projects.
11. Travel to various job sites, including remote or hazardous locations.
12. Be reliable, punctual, and proactive in vehicle problem-solving.
13. Ensure QHSE compliance as per Sievert's standards for safe driving.
14. Assist RT/Multi Technicians in conducting NDT activities.
15. Assist in lifting, transporting, and shifting radiography projectors at job sites.
16. Help in barricading areas as instructed by the RT team and monitor barricaded zones.
17. Maintain equipment and accessories through regular cleaning and safekeeping after activities.
18. Be a quick learner to perform RT, MT, PT, HT, PMI, and Ferrite testing upon receiving training and procedural/code familiarization.
