Job description

Strategy:
- Develop, implement and monitor Nationalization Roadmap, in line with HR and business strategies.
- Support HRBPs in implementation of Nationalization Strategy.
- Work with external consultants to implement Nationalization modules to a high standard in line with Strategy.

Communication:
- Develop and implement communication plan for Nationalization Strategy and Roadmap.
- Manage and participate in events and workshops related to Nationalization, including leading Nationalization employment career fairs.
- Advocate and promote Nationalization initiatives concepts across the business.

Reporting and metrics:
- Establish and track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of Nationalization initiatives.
- Maintain an active database on Nationalization for all Middle East countries within which Serco operates.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports on Nationalization, objective achievement, issues.
- Prepare and monitor the Nationalization Budget to ensure effective utilization.

Continuous improvement:
- Benchmark Serco's Nationalization policies; ensure these are maintained as per regulatory requirements and market best practices.
- Identify and introduce practices / initiatives that will help attract National talent into Serco.
- Identify, recommend and implement process / procedure improvements and innovations in relation to recruiting, retaining, and recognizing Nationals.
- Facilitate the development of appropriate strategies and procedures for the National Development program.
- Support the identification of the training and development needs for National employees.

DIVERSITY:
- Develop, implement and monitor SME's Diversity Plan in line with AMEAA Diversity approach.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports on Diversity, including objective achievement, issues etc.
- Identify, recommend and implement process / program improvements and innovations in relation to Diversity.
- Advocate.

Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Typical background:
- 5+ years' experience in delivering best practice Nationalization plans and initiatives within large, complex organizations.
- Exposure to Diversity concepts, plans and initiatives.
- Bachelor or post-graduate qualifications in Human Resources related discipline.

Experience and skills:
- Implementation of successful Nationalization related initiatives.
- HR related project management experience.
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects / initiatives at the same time.
- Structured, planned approach to all aspects of work.
- Exceptional planning and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
- Outstanding written communication skills; including email communication, report writing, presentations, in both English and Arabic.
- Influencing without authority.
- Ability to deal effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- High level of interpersonal awareness.
- Understanding of data and ability to quickly interpret and analyze it.
- Ability to take initiative, self-manage and escalate appropriately.
- Resilience in dealing with change, ambiguity and challenges.
