Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the Authorised Stockage List (ASL) for all stores.
- Review the Annual Service Plan (ASP) spares requirements and facilitate the preparation of the annual maintenance plan.
- Assist in the identification, implementation, and monitoring of performance metrics to ensure KPIs are attained or exceeded.
- Ensure that the storage and disposal of all hazardous materials comply with environmental directives.
- Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
- Provide input on strategic and tactical direction, coaching, and development of junior managers and technical staff.
- Use management reports to identify negative trends and streamline the Supply and Materials process.
- Facilitate continuous improvement actions and LEAN techniques to enhance department performance.
- Provide inputs to the annual budget, approve, and monitor expenditures.
- Direct the department in preparation for audits, review, and implement required actions.
- Review and update department policies, procedures, and practices annually.
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
- Identify and meet the training and development needs of department employees.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, hazardous material storage, and property accountability in all stores.
- Ensure tools, test equipment, and high-value property are maintained, inventoried, and safeguarded.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all company documents.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Director, Supply and Materials.
Experience and Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of eight to ten years managing a team in logistics or supply operations.
- Experience in military or automotive sectors is advantageous.
- Experience with CMMS such as MAXIMO, SAP, etc., is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies in a supply setting is an advantage.
Key Skills :
- Ability to analyze data and experience in strategic planning.
- Proven people and project management skills.
- Experience managing multiple warehouse activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid UAE driver’s license.
