The Technical Support Engineer ensures Baker Hughes delivers flawless execution by providing technical support to the Service Delivery and Sales organizations during pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert in your area of support
  • Providing technical support to the field via online media, phone calls, and technical papers
  • Offering 24/7 support for critical operations when needed
  • Sharing knowledge by submitting best practices, case histories, and lessons learned to the knowledge management database
  • Following up on field failures requiring technology involvement and sharing learnings across the field
  • Raising alerts for unfamiliar technical issues during jobs
  • Coaching other technical resources
  • Communicating issues and lessons learned to Engineering and Technology organizations
  • Performing PL-specific responsibilities
  • Handling special projects as required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Technical Support in Cementing
  • Initiative, self-drive, and flexibility
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and mentor others
  • Availability to be on call outside normal hours
  • Good communication skills
