Job Description

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

· Identify gaps and opportunities in the private label pharma portfolio (Rx and/or OTC) specific to UAE market needs. Define product specifications, dosage forms, pack sizes, and pricing. Manage the full lifecycle: development, MOHAP registration, launch, reformulation, and rationalization.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance (MOHAP)

· Ensure all products are fully compliant with UAE MOHAP guidelines. Coordinate with regulatory affairs to prepare and submit MOHAP dossiers. Support audits and ensure timely responses to ministry queries. Liaise with QA/QC teams to maintain quality documentation and product release protocols.

· Identify and onboard licensed pharmaceutical manufacturers approved by MOHAP. Negotiate pricing, batch sizes, and delivery timelines. Ensure adherence to UAE GMP standards and signed technical agreements.

Project Management & Timely Launches

· Drive and track launch timelines in collaboration with marketing, regulatory, design, and supply chain teams. Escalate roadblocks and ensure project milestones are met.

Packaging & Artwork Development

· Oversee packaging, labeling, and leaflets in compliance with MOHAP guidelines, including Arabic and English content. Coordinate with design and legal teams to ensure brand consistency and accurate health claims.

Cost Optimization & Margin Improvement

· Benchmark against UAE generic pricing. Drive cost reductions via efficient sourcing, alternate vendors, and packaging innovations.

· Track competitor products, pricing, and new launches in the UAE market. Incorporate insights into portfolio strategy and innovation pipeline.

Cross-Functional Coordination

· Work closely with commercial, stores, merchandising, regulatory, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end readiness and visibility for new launches.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences (mandatory); MBA is an advantage.

· 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical product development or private label management.

· In-depth knowledge of UAE MOHAP regulations and drug registration procedures.

· Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, particularly with MOHAP-licensed manufacturers.

· Proven ability to manage complex projects involving regulatory, quality, and commercial teams.

· Familiarity with UAE pharma market, pricing dynamics, and consumer expectations.
