Novotel & Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate is seeking a polished and engaging Hostess to welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. This frontline hospitality role is key in ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests at our hotel restaurants and lounges.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Welcome guests warmly and maintain a friendly, courteous manner at all times
- Manage reservations with full documentation including time, date, number of guests, contact info, and room numbers
- Ensure proper table allocation and seating based on reservations and walk-in traffic
- Maintain host desk coverage at all times to avoid unattended guest arrival
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, ideally within two rings
- Adhere to hotel policies, including door rules and age-related entry restrictions as per licensing requirements
- Ensure fair and balanced seating for all service team members
- Provide prompt solutions to guest concerns or inquiries
- Assist with special projects and support the Food & Beverage team as needed
What Skills Are Needed for a Hostess in Abu Dhabi?
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- 1-2 years in a guest-facing role, preferably in an upscale restaurant, lounge, or hotel setting
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability
- A gracious, friendly, and approachable demeanor
- Proficiency with reservation software or POS systems
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Attention to detail and a high level of personal grooming
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability
