Job Title : Vice President - Shared Services (Finance)

Experience Required: Minimum 12 years in Accounts Receivable, with at least one stint in the Real Estate industry

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced finance professional to lead our Shared Services Finance function as Vice President. This role will have strategic and operational ownership of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function across multiple business entities, with a strong focus on process excellence, compliance, automation, and stakeholder management. Prior experience in the real estate sector is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable Shared Services function across all geographies and entities.

- Design and drive end-to-end AR process improvements including billing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and bad debt provisioning.

- Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs for AR performance (e.g., DSO, aging, cash flow forecasting).

- Collaborate closely with business units, real estate sales, legal and leasing teams to streamline customer onboarding, invoicing, and payment tracking.

- Standardize AR processes and documentation across all business verticals.

- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end AR closing in coordination with the Group Finance team.

- Implement and oversee AR systems/tools to automate and digitize collections and reporting.

- Ensure strict compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS), audit, and tax regulations.

- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing AR shared services team across multiple locations.

- Manage stakeholder communication including regular reporting to senior leadership and business heads.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 1 stint in the Real Estate industry (mandatory).

- Proven experience in leading Shared Services or GCC-based Finance Operations teams.

- Excellent understanding of AR processes, customer billing cycles, collections, and reporting in complex, multi-entity environments.

- Strong knowledge of real estate accounting including lease management, milestone-based billing, and escrow account compliance.

- Hands-on experience in working with ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to drive transformation and digitization in finance processes.

- Must be currently based in, or open to relocating to, Dubai.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA / CPA / MBA in Finance or Accounting.

- Prior experience working in GCC region is an added advantage.

- Exposure to real estate-specific ERP modules (Yardi, MRI, etc.) is a plus.
