What You'll Do

As the Product Manager for the assigned 3ph Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) product families, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth within Eaton Critical Power Solutions (CPS) portfolio for the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) market. In this role, you will be owning the complete product lifecycle including business case and scope definition, market requirements, development, market launch, maintenance and phase out. As product manager, you are working closely with a diverse set of multiple different functions, including sales, engineering, business development, marketing communications and operations.

  • Leads all product management activities for the assigned 3ph UPS and accessory products in EMEA region.
  • Define the overall product strategy and roadmap for the assigned product lines in alignment to the CPS strategic plan.
  • Defines the pricing strategy in EMEA for assigned product lines, analyzing market pricing and closely monitoring end-to-end margins.
  • Initiates actions to increase profitability (e.g. cost-out actions, new product intro, price management).
  • Tracks sales performance for assigned product lines, and drives the definition and deployment of growth initiatives as well as necessary corrective actions throughout EMEA to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
  • Gathers voice of the customer and accumulates market knowledge of key targeted segments and competitive offerings
  • Investigates and evaluates new market/business opportunities, contributing to product line strategy planning
  • Engages with Segment marketing to create strong value propositions.
  • Actively contributes to new product development projects from the specification of market requirements to the launch of new product.
  • Coordinates product marketing positioning and outbound messaging in EMEA for assigned product lines.
  • Drives the definition of marketing communication strategies for assigned product lines in EMEA, working with Marcom team to develop and deploy relevant sales and marketing tools & campaigns.
  • Defines, develops and deploys relevant trainings to support sales organization on assigned product lines together with relevant persons from CPS organization.
  • Collaborates globally with other regions and coordinates the definition of the global 3ph product roadmap.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business, or equivalent knowledge. MBA is a plus

Skills

  • 2-3 years in product management
  • Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge on power electronics, three phase electrical systems and solutions including UPS technologies and assemblies.
