Saikind Floor Supervisor Job Description
The Saikind Floor Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms meet the highest standards by overseeing both Room Attendants and Housemen working on the floors, conducting detailed inspections of their work.
What you will do
- Be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons.
- Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met, and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Be knowledgeable about service techniques and culinary terminology to train staff and promote products to customers and patrons.
- Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment, reporting recommendations for corrections and improvements to the Manager as needed.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and Managers.
- Manage the services in the outlet under his/her direct responsibility.
- Assist with setup and cleaning of operational areas.
- Be well-versed in division operations, Four Seasons Cultural and Core Standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan schedules and ensure high employee performance.
- Supervise and motivate the teams under his/her responsibility, always promoting the golden rule.
- Ensure Health & Safety alongside good hygiene practices are maintained.
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Purchasing to maintain cleanliness, operational order, and supplies.
- Assist in creating action and training plans related to the Employee Engagement Survey (EES) and Guest Comment Ratings, including Coyle and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) reports.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the F&B Outlet Manager, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, or Hotel Manager.
What you bring
- 2 to 3 years of previous experience as an F&B Supervisor in a luxury bar.
- College education or equivalent experience.
- Experience in similar roles within luxury hotels is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
- Ability to operate computer systems related to food & beverage operations.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Working knowledge of division operations, Four Seasons standards, policies, and procedures, generally learned on-the-job.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs proactively.
- Energetic and professional demeanor.
