Required for a Leading Facility Management Company in UAE

Position - Wall Painter

Job Summary:

The Wall Painter is responsible for carrying out painting and surface preparation tasks across the facility. This includes applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces to enhance and maintain the appearance of the building. The role ensures all work meets quality standards and is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying primer
  
• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  
• Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
  
• Repair minor wall damages such as chips, holes, and cracks before painting
  
• Perform touch-ups and repainting as part of routine facility maintenance
  
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths or masking tape to prevent paint splatter
  
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition
  
• Assist with decorative painting or special finishes as required
  
• Follow safety guidelines, especially when working on ladders, scaffolding, or using chemicals
  
• Report material requirements, surface issues, or any hazards to the supervisor
  
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff when tasks involve shared areas or systems
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting is an advantage
  
• 25 years of experience in painting or surface finishing, preferably in facility maintenance
  
• Good knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
  
• Ability to mix paints and match colors accurately
  
• Familiar with safety practices related to painting and chemical handling
  
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights when necessary
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in commercial or residential facility management
  
• Basic knowledge of wall repairs and surface preparation
  
• Multi-skilled in other civil works (e.g., plastering, minor masonry) is a plus
  
• Team player with strong communication and time management skills
