Job Description :
- Operations & Maintenance:
- Supervise all maintenance and repair activities across residential, commercial, and retail properties.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Manage in-house technicians and external contractors to ensure timely and high-quality service.
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary technical team (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil, etc.).
- Recruit, train, and evaluate technical staff to ensure skills match operational needs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-job coaching.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party service providers.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure vendor compliance and performance.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Prepare annual budgets for maintenance and facility services.
- Monitor expenditures and find cost-effective solutions for repairs and maintenance.
- Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with UAE regulations, municipality rules, and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for property managers and clients regarding maintenance concerns.
- Handle escalated complaints and ensure customer satisfaction through efficient problem-solving.
- System Implementation & Reporting:
- Oversee the implementation of CAFM/CMMS systems for workflow management.
- Generate regular operational reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facility management or maintenance services.
- Previous experience in managing operations in a repair/maintenance company is a must.
- Prior experience in managing technical teams and subcontractors.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and civil systems.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility management software (CAFM, CMMS).
- Good communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as IFMA, BIFM, or Facilities Management Professional (FMP).
- Experience working within real estate or property development environments in the UAE.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time role based in Dubai.
- Occasional site visits required across Tiger Group properties.
