We are currently seeking an HSE Officer to support the implementation of HSE standards, policies, and procedures, and monitor operational activities to ensure compliance with Fives and Customer HSE requirements, as well as HSE regulations.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development and implementation of internal HSE policies, processes, procedures, standards, and plans to ensure safe and compliant operations in accordance with legislation, standards, and best practices.
2. Conduct thorough incident/accident investigations, report outcomes, and take corrective/preventative actions to safeguard operations.
3. Support the execution of the HSEQ audit and inspection plan, ensuring effectiveness and addressing gaps or risks.
4. Perform audits/inspections using appropriate methods and record data accurately per standards.
5. Develop and maintain the HSE training register, monitor training needs, and ensure staff are equipped with necessary HSE knowledge.
6. Coordinate logistics and administration for HSE training sessions, ensuring timely delivery.
7. Ensure completion of all HSE checklists and availability of safety materials such as PPE, first aid, and fire safety equipment.
8. Maintain all HSE documentation, records, licenses, and certifications for easy reference.
9. Assist with emergency evacuation drills as needed.

Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations, including HSEQ requirements, using company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant HSE or Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• NEBOSH certification (Level 3) is mandatory; Level 6 or equivalent preferred.
• International OSH membership (e.g., CertISOH).
• Approved by Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA).
• Knowledge of local HSE regulations such as ADOSH-SF.
