Sales Director Technical & Modular Buildings
Department: Sales & Marketing Modular Solutions
Location: Based in Dubai, UAE, with regular international travel as part of the role.
Purpose of the Role:
The Sales Director will lead the growth and development of the Technical & Modular Buildings segment, establishing the company as a market leader and the supplier of choice for engineered modular building solutions, including onsite support, refurbishment, and facilities management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed annual revenue and EBITDA targets across product categories.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team and agent network to drive contract wins across key industries and geographies.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify business development opportunities and product diversification strategies.
- Develop and implement a sales-driven strategy to raise awareness of company capabilities within target markets and client segments.
- Maintain senior-level relationships within key accounts to maximize market share and profitability.
- Create and execute a strategic business plan in collaboration with leadership to drive revenue growth.
- Cultivate early-stage relationships with potential clients for medium-to-long-term projects.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and affiliates to leverage cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across global markets.
- Develop and grow new geographies and business streams within the energy sector, aligning with organizational capabilities and goals.
- Drive expansion into offshore/onshore renovation and outfitting for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Grow the spare parts and aftersales business with a strong focus on upselling and profitability.
QHSE Responsibilities
- Contribute to and uphold company QHSE objectives and standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies in the execution of sales and marketing functions.
- Promote a risk-based, process-driven approach to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Support a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability throughout the department.
Candidate Profile :
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
- 15+ years of international business development experience, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proven leadership in managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with a service-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in business planning, sales strategy, and marketing execution.
- Computer literate with excellent English communication skills.
Core Competencies:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Collaborative team player with resilience under pressure.
