Poddster, the leading global network of podcast studios, is looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the face of our Dubai location.

Who is a Receptionist at Poddster and what do they do

As a Receptionist at Poddster, you're more than just the first point of contact — you're the heart of the client experience. From warmly greeting our guests and guiding them through their studio sessions to assisting with service-related queries and making sure everything runs smoothly, you play a crucial role in delivering the five-star experience Poddster is known for.

You'll also support our team by managing studio schedules, handling walk-ins, collecting payments, and maintaining the front-of-house and client spaces. When issues arise — whether it's a missing water bottle, a technical hiccup, or a guest needing help — you're the calm, resourceful presence that ensures everything is handled professionally and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and welcome all clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
  2. Prepare and serve beverages or light refreshments as part of the studio hospitality experience.
  3. Manage daily studio bookings, check-ins, and scheduling logistics.
  4. Respond to in-person and digital inquiries, providing accurate and timely information.
  5. Collect payments for sessions and services, ensuring proper record-keeping and receipts.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in reception and client-facing areas.
  7. Address day-to-day operational or office-related issues, escalating when needed.
  8. Ensure guests feel cared for and comfortable throughout their visit.
  9. Support the team with basic admin tasks and coordination between clients and internal staff.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or hospitality role (experience in a media or creative industry is a plus).
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural service mindset.
  3. Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills.
  4. Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools (booking software, POS systems, communication platforms).
  5. Fluent in English; conversational Arabic is a plus.
  6. Proactive, presentable, and calm under pressure.
