POSITION SUMMARY

Assist in monitoring and tracking employee relations issues, including resolution and follow-up. Support management and leadership in handling and resolving Human Resources issues. Ensure all hiring and recruitment processes comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards. Inform HR management of employee relations issues. Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding company policies, programs, and guidelines. Disseminate information related to employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies. Review and maintain accurate employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9s). Assist with logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys. Handle phone calls and record messages.

Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Follow all company safety, security policies, and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards. Communicate professionally with others; answer phones courteously. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None required.
