Job Description & Summary

Those working as assistants and office support at PwC will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including managing their schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential information. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and effective communication within the organization.

Senior Executive Assistant duties and responsibilities:

  • Diary Management
  • Extensive management of online diaries, booking appointments, and arranging meetings, with updates as required.
  • Ensuring Executives arrive at meetings on time with appropriate documentation.
  • Acting as backup in managing other Executives' and Principals' diaries when their EAs are unavailable.
  • Call Management
  • Handling and screening calls for Executives.
  • Taking and passing messages to Executives in a timely manner.
  • Email Management
  • Monitoring Executives' email inboxes when they are out of the office or in meetings and taking action as necessary.
  • Client Relationships
  • Maintaining and building good working relationships with Executives' clients and their assistants via phone and email communication.
  • Assisting other EAs during busy periods.

Internal Process

  • Proactive planning for meetings and follow-up actions (documents, papers needed).
  • Organizing local internal and external meetings, including catering and IT requirements.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors.
  • Partner and Executive general admin.
  • Proofreading and finalizing documents such as presentations, proposals, and letters.
  • General filing.
  • Keeping Executives' contacts databases and business card storage up to date.

Learning and Growth

  • Exercise confidentiality, discretion, and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role.
  • Comply with PwC policies and procedures.
  • Build a network of strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Assist with the organization of PwC events, including dinners and outside events.
  • Act as a key resource and liaison to other functional areas of the business, building cross-functional relationships as needed.

Required Skills

Proficiency in administrative support, calendar management, communication, confidentiality, and organization skills are essential. Additional skills include handling confidential information, proofreading, event organization, and building relationships.
