Madison Pearl is partnering with an esteemed government entity based in Abu Dhabi who are looking to hire a dynamic Senior Accountant. The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and financial governance frameworks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, draft, and update accounting and financial reporting policies in line with IFRS and other applicable frameworks.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to business units and support accurate interpretation of policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure policy adherence and support audit activities.
• Oversee the governance process related to financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
• Ensure accounting policies reflect the latest regulatory changes and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Professional qualifications such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an accountant and an auditor
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills.
