Construction Quality Control Manager

- Responsible for supervising the development and implementation of company quality assurance methods for assigned project(s).

- Responsible for coordinating corporate welding control system which details minimal standards of welders, proper heat treating, and non-destructive testing methods.

- Responsible for plant construction goals. Establish and maintain community relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.

- Administering construction quality assurance procedures and monitoring field project work to ensure performance is within quality specifications.

- Offering technical advice to project management for corrective action to work below quality specifications.

- Maintaining a complete record of all welder's code stamps certified by the Associates Society of Mechanical Engineers, distributing reports to construction sites listing welder code stamp qualifications.

- Supervising quality control staff assigned to specific construction projects to test welding procedures, checking adherence to quality specifications, supervising heat treating of welds, and offering technical support.

- Assisting projects that require quality assurance engineering consulting, technical research, and laboratory testing.

- Reviewing proposal estimate data for quality assurance requirements and welding requirements.

- Directing customer presentations and preliminary quality assurance studies to assure estimating assistance.

- Assisting corporate management on special assignments that require engineering and technical evaluations.

- Other duties as assigned by the management.
