Role: Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects adhere to established quality standards and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the Project Manager as the company's representative with clients and subcontractors during project execution, interfacing with management and client personnel.
  2. Follow up on instructions and commitments related to the project.
  3. Monitor contractor performance regarding schedule and conformance to plans and specifications.
  4. Assist in overseeing the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents, ensuring project goals are met or exceeded.
  5. Oversee time and cost budgets, including initial setup, under the guidance of senior management.
  6. Demonstrate capability in project controls such as scheduling, cost reporting, forecasting, and variation management.
  7. Monitor and evaluate project performance within time and budget constraints.
  8. Communicate project performance results to the project management team.
  9. Manage process changes to address operational shortcomings.
  10. Plan and coordinate resources for each job, including inputs from other offices, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  11. Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate to support the Project Manager.
